BP withdraws plans to drill for oil and gas off the southern coast of Australia because it is too expensive in the face of low oil prices that have prompted heavy cost-cutting across the sector.

The prices of fuel will marginally surge on Wednesday(5 October 2016) as state-run fuel retailers raised dealer commission by 11 paise for petrol and 8 paise for diesel.
