What cookies are

Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to work and stay secure. This includes security/bot‑protection cookies set by Cloudflare, and a bot‑challenge cookie on the newsletter form (Cloudflare Turnstile). These do not require consent.
- Functional — remember preferences, such as your light/dark theme choice (stored on your device, not shared).
- Analytics — we currently use privacy‑focused, aggregate analytics that do not require optional cookies. If this changes, it will be governed by your consent.
- Advertising — not currently used. When advertising is enabled, ad partners may set cookies to measure and (where you allow it) personalise ads. These will only load after you consent, and you will be able to choose non‑personalised ads where required.
Your choices
- Consent banner. On your first visit you can accept or reject non‑essential cookies. You can change your choice any time via “Cookie settings” in the site footer.
- Google Consent Mode. Any future Google advertising/analytics tags are configured to default to denied until you opt in.
- Browser controls. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; note that blocking strictly‑necessary cookies may break parts of the site.
