Newsroom
The BreakNewsLine newsroom reports in a calm, factual, plain style — closer to a wire service than a cable channel. No hype, no clickbait, no partisanship. Our job is to tell you what happened, what we can confirm, and what we can’t yet.
How we verify
Reporters corroborate each story against independent secondary sources — official records, filings, and wire reports — before it carries our Verified seal. Those sources are listed in the Verified against block at the foot of every article, so readers can check our work. A story that is still developing runs without the seal and says so plainly.
Images
Cover images are photojournalistic — neutral, real and unfiltered. For a consistent, fast-loading feed we frame them 16:9 (around 1600×900px), compress them for the web (WebP, typically under 150 KB), and credit the source. The cover image also becomes the story’s social‑share image.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we correct it openly and note what changed. If you spot an error, tell us and we will look into it.
